ABOUT ME

     My name is Kalyn Barry. I am the founder, owner, Esthetician, and Permanent Makeup/Paramedical Tattoo Artist at Still Waters Salon. I was born and raised in Clarksdale, MS. In 2015, I moved to Greenwood to take a position as a Dental Hygienist with Dr. Todd Fincher. Two years later, I met my husband, Daniel Barry, and now permanently reside here in Greenwood.

     In 2019, I decided to take a leap of faith and begin an entirely new career. Never would I have dreamed that in doing so I would be where I am today! It started with me going to school to become an Esthetician, and now I am not only an Esthetician, but also a licensed Cosmetologist and licensed Permanent Makeup and Paramedical Tattoo Artist.

     Ever since I was a little girl, I have felt a strong desire to help people. I thought that meant my calling was the medical field, so I tried dental hygiene and nursing. It took a decade for me to realize that God had something else planned for me.  I am beyond thrilled that I have finally found my little niche to help others. This is not only my career, it is also my newest and most loved passion! My goal is to help restore confidence and happiness in others while simultaneously helping people feel whole again.
